Daily Passes are not available for purchase at this time. The REC is open to members only.
Under the direction of social distancing, we have sought this as an opportunity to conduct our Annual Pool Maintenance Inspection. Our Annual Maintenance will take place Wednesday, March 18 through approximately Tuesday, March 31. During this time, the pool will be closed to the public. Please follow us on our mobile app, City of Fairview Heights, for live updates.
Our Little RECers’ Zone and Clip ‘N Climb is closed.
All Fitness and Aquatic Group Exercise Classes, Swim Lessons, and Sports Programming are suspended.
The IDPH also recommends the best way to protect against coronavirus is by taking the same everyday precautions against getting sick in general. These include:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
Basically, continue practicing all of the same procedures you already are doing to combat flu and cold season. We will continue to closely monitor recommendations regarding coronavirus and will update you as soon as there any significant changes.
